By Car:

St. Catharines is located within the Niagara Peninsula, 50 kilometres from Toronto and 20 kilometers from the United States border. We are served by two major freeways, The Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) which travels East to West from Toronto to the Peace Bridge Boarder Crossing into Buffalo, New York and Highway 406 which runs North to South.

Travelling from Toronto:

Travel via the QEW west towards Hamilton. There are 6 interchanges throughout the city ranging from exit numbers 51-44.

Travelling from Hamilton:

Travel via the QEW west towards Niagara. There are 6 interchanges throughout the city ranging from exit numbers 51-44.

Travelling from Buffalo:

Cross the boarder at the Peace Bridge which turns into the QEW Niagara. Follow the QEW Niagara. There are 6 interchanges throughout the city ranging from exit numbers 44-51.

By Bus:

Visitors can travel to St. Catharines via bus. Currently, both Coach Canada and Grey Hound provide routes to and from the City from both Toronto and New York City. By Train:

Train access to St. Catharines can be arranged through both Via Rail and Amtrak. Train transportation is available from both Toronto and New York City.

By Boat:

If you are boating or sailing into St. Catharines, the city has many marinas offering itinerant docking and repair facilities. For more information on transient docking call 905-688-5601 ext. 1570. Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

By Plane:

St. Catharines/District Airport serves general aviation as well as chartered jetliner flights. If traveling by Major Carrier, Niagara Airbus provides transportation to and from St. Catharines to the Buffalo International Airport, Hamilton International Airport and Toronto Pearson Airport.

From Buffalo International Airport:
